ABOUT
Jess Gordon is a director/producer born and raised in New York.
She is an alumni of the BFA program at the Film Conservatory of Purchase College.
During her four years at the conservatory, she wrote and directed four thesis films, which screened at festivals throughout the country and won several awards within her program. She also acted as a producer for two international short films which received acclaim world-wide.
Jess strives to make personal, character-driven work with a nuanced and subjective, feminine lens.
She has recently finished working at A+E Networks and developed two episodes for Season Three of The Toys That Built America,
She is currently a part of the Sundance Collab Writer’s Workshop, where she is developing her first feature film script.
Jess is also working as a Video Producer at Allure (Condé Nast).
Her latest film, Hattie, Abloom is an Official Selection at the Montreal Independent Film Festival and the Rhode Island Film Festival.
